Finalize Program Details & Contracting
The AMO team collects your program information and requirements to help schools and preceptees know exactly what to expect when rotating at your clinic.
Going Live
Once program details are collected, you will be assigned a personal AMO coordinator who will build and manage your program on the AMO site. This person handles all the onboarding paperwork and compliance for your clinical site.
Reserving Your Program
Trainees and schools search for, discover, and apply to your program directly on the AMO platform. Applications are reviewed in accordance with your requirements.
Trainees Rotate
Once approved, trainees can prepare to rotate, and you receive student details and calendars. Trainees also have a personal AMO contact to support logistics.
Filter and centralize student and school precepting requests and paperwork through AMO.
Management Platform
Free access to AMO’s management platform—your centralized place for applicant details, viewing your training schedule, updating your program details, and more.
Reinvest in Your Clinic
To offset productivity concerns, AMO provides its preceptors with a stipend per student rotated. Use this to reinvest in your clinic, pay staff, or however you choose.
Charting and Clinic Support
A 2018 change to CMS documentation now allows medical students to chart without physicians needing to redocument any work so long as the attendee signs off on it. Learners can also room patients, collect histories, administer injections, and more. This is a critical part of their training and can help you with your productivity.
“The revenue from our program with AMOpportunities gives us the ability to build out a quality department and find funding for value-based reimbursement. It allows us to do things to make our practice more competitive and give patients a better level of service.”
Dr. Karon LoCicero Tampa, Florida, Internal Medicine
"The word is simple: professional. AMO is professional. AMO checks everything and delivers what they promise. That’s the most important thing. When students come here, they have to be guided properly. That’s why I accepted AMO."
Dr. Vishnu Gaiha Chicago, Illinois, Cardiology
“I highly recommend working with AMO from a business standpoint. It enhances your practice. It also allows you to give back, which is important. And it’s enjoyable to take part in that teaching aspect.”
